Experts LeagueThe Experts League was new for Benchwarmer in 2009. We've gathered together people who work in sports media and those who do it as a hobby. We've pitted older-style media in one conference (print vs. airwaves) and the web world in the other (web sites vs. bloggers). And one slot each season will be reserved for the previous year's Benchwarmer Bash Champion and Winners Circle League Champion. We're currently looking for new experts to run leagues in 2019 - see the current "orphan" teams.
We're taking everyone out of the normal comfort zone of Rotisserie-style fantasy baseball. How will they fare here? With the dynasty format, we're asking any incoming experts to take on a different challenge - you're not using your draft projections to create a single-season entry. Instead, you've got to adopt an orphan franchise with strengths and weaknesses - build it into your own vision - and try to create a league powerhouse.
